How to fix a windshield washer reservoir on a 05 Chevy Malibu?

November 10, 2009 · Print This Article

The reservoir is so far down inside the engine that everytime I pull out of the driveway at my office and scrape bottom (can’t help that –no matter how slow I drive–very steep driveway), it severs the hose off the bottom of reservoir and drains washer fluid. I’ve had repaired twice at cost of about $50 each time. Now, it won’t hold fluid again and don’t want to keep spending $50 to have fixed. Anyone else with a problem like this?

why don’t you build a metal skid plate under the hose to keep from ruining it?

yes the skid plate would work but its just a water tank you can move it to where you want just make sure it keeps the same properties and all of the hoses go to the same place and it is stable

Got something to say?
